Choosing Wheeler's Estate as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we ever had! All of our friends and family loved the food and service the crew has provided. Jeremiah, our wedding coordinator, had responded promptly to our request throughout the hectic planning and had ensured that the actual wedding day went smoothly as planned. Service crew were very sincere and helpful to some of my older relatives. Thank you Wheeler's Estate crew for accommodating to our needs and making our wedding an enjoyable place for all our friends and family, we are very very grateful for that! Hi BTBs! I had my wedding on on Sunday night at Verandah & into the woods and we would love to share my experience! - My coordinator was Jeremiah and though there were hiccups along the way, he was fast to respond to them. He also replies very promptly to our queries & helped to make suggestions along the way (during planning stage and on AD itself to ensure the flow is smooth). Jeremiah and his crew also helped to carry 3 of my elderly guests up since the restaurant is on the second floor and there is no lift. Rlly gratefully for their help! Sadly he’s leaving in Sept. - There are two bridal rooms: one on the first floor which the bride can use to touch up and change for March in while there’s another bridal room within the restaurant itself on the second floor which can be used for tea ceremony. The second floor bridal room is much bigger and can be used to put your barangs and decor. Do not that there is no safe in either room but the second floor bridal room can be locked with a key. - We had the 5course meal (added on lobster pasta) and a lot of the guests complimented the food! They really loved it! The service crew were also very lovely and prompt in topping up drinks to keep our guests filled :) our guests who had the vegetarian food were surprised and absolutely loved their food as well. They commented it was even better than Ritz Carlton (which served them cold and less tasty food)😅. - We were worried about the live band that night and our worries were unnecessary. The live band couldn’t even be heard inside because of the laughter and chatter of the guests. I didn’t even realised there was a live band ongoing until I was leaving the venue LOL - Ambience of the restaurant was really cozy and lovely for an intimate wedding reception which our guests and us appreciated! - solemnisation and sparkles (end of reception) at into the woods was soooo beautiful! We were worried about the heat for the solemnisation but there were one huge ass fan to keep the guests cool. Surprisingly not as many mosquitoes as I expected! But as it’s outdoors, do expect some insects. Do prepare more kitchen lighters (>5) so that it’s easier to coordinate the guests and light up those sparkles! Overall, the feedbacks we have gotten from our guests were positive and we ourselves also had a pleasant and unforgettable experience 🥰 if anyone has any questions, do pm me to ask me more! It’s good to appoint someone to coordinate with her on programme flow and drinks in case a top up is required. ⁃ Fairylights need to be rented. The price varies depending on the vendors so it’s good to get in touch with a few to compare prices! ⁃ We received many positive feedback about the food! ⁃ It was a little warm but we told our guests to dress light. (At least there was no rain) ⁃ The live band was a nice touch and our guests enjoyed it. We arranged the seating such that our friends who will enjoy the music and not mind the volume at the nearer half of the sky deck, and families/relatives on the other side so they won’t feel “disturbed” by the volume. It worked well for us! ⁃ We didn’t have much to project and show our guests so the two TV screens worked for us. Overall is positive and we really like the ambience there. Had a scheduled meet up with the wedding planner to visit the place and have a site recce. The planner did not turn up and there was no prior notification or follow up action. Waited for 15mins before we decided to leave as there was no one turning up.
