This was weird. I went for a fine dining wedding dinner on the second floor. Rating the food was good as this is like an traditional Chinese house but with a modern touch to it. Akin to having a Chinese wedding dinner in chijmes. The toilets tho were horrendous as it was a club style toilet. Not kid friendly.. The inner ground floor has a clubbing feel to it and the outer grounds is a bar.

Held my wedding here on 15 Oct 2022. The food was great but the sound system failed during our solemnisation ceremony. The toilets were dirty with wet floors and tissues everywhere and guests reported that certain areas of the dining hall the AV system were not great. The planning process was bumpy, given that the staff involved took a very long time to reply to our queries, one time even taking 2 months for a reply. They kept changing staff or ICs and information were not communicated to the next staff in charge. Many personalised changes to the event plan was requested from my end months before but the staff didn’t seem to take note of the changes and instead insinuated that I was the one making things difficult for them because it was not the usual flow they were used to. It’s worth taking note that even on the wedding day, they didn’t proceed with some of my own requests which they’ve acknowledged a few weeks before. This could be due to a change in IC a day before when the main planner unfortunately came down with covid. Unfortunate event but it shows the lack of communication amongst the company. Staff involved: Sara, Nicole and Joe. At the end of the ceremony, the company did not provide a receipt or invoice of the charges incurred during the dinner. I was only provided a screenshot of an excel spreadsheet and I only received one a whole month after asking for it. Overall, if given the chance i would not hold my wedding at this restaurant which is a shame because the food was the only saving grace. We did end up making the best with whatever we were offered and had an amazing wedding ceremony but do take note that the company (1 Host) in charge of the planning has very poor management and communication which could potentially cause you a lot of additional stress during the planning process - proceed with alot of caution.

Great wedding reception. The building itself is a Chinese building with very 1900s old school aesthetic. Restaurant at level 2. I’m surprisingly impressed with the food as I like every single dish, especially the soup.
