The Blue Ginger

I cannot recommend The Blue Ginger highly enough. My (now-)husband and I, who are both based overseas, were seeking a venue to have a small intimate wedding with excellent food. Serendipitously, we found The Blue Ginger online at almost the same time that my in-laws recommended it after having a great meal there. As you can imagine, planning a wedding remotely can be challenging but the team at Blue Ginger really made the whole experience quite seamless. After just one or two Zoom calls, they proposed personalized decorations for the venue that exactly fit our expectations. They were also completely open to facilitating our requests. On the wedding day itself, we were blown away at how amazingly their team (led by Alan and Autumn) had pulled off everything with very little input from us. We had an international guest list for the wedding but we unanimously agreed that everything from the Ngoh Hiang (must try!) to the Ayam Buah Keluak and Beef Rendang (soo tender) was ridiculously amazing. One of our cousins ate something like 10 Kueh Pie Tee before the ROM ceremony started! Weeks later, we’re still receiving compliments from guests about the venue and food. Definitely highly recommend.

Alan and team are simply the best!! We decided on our ROM location relatively last minute- about a month from the actual day. We really appreciate how fuss-free the whole experience has been, TBG has been very accommodating with our choice of theme, menu changes etc. Our ROM was on the 15th day of lunar new year and they even acceded to our request to help cook and serve Tang Yuan to our guests. We received a lot of compliments on the decor (our theme is succulents, organic) and the creative team designed and hand-painted some posters to the theme. Highly highly recommended if you would like an elegant and fuss-free wedding:)

Alan and team did a beautiful job with the decoration and really transformed the space to be customised to us and made great use of our pre-wedding pictures in the deco. Our family and friends had nothing but compliments for the venue and food. The staff at Blue Ginger were all very attentive in catering to our guests needs. The entire day went without hiccups and my partner and I couldn't stop singing praises about Alan and The Blue Ginger! ❤️

Upon recommendation, I've had my solemnization ceremony & lunch at The Blue Ginger Tanjong Pagar, and it was nothing short of amazing. Truly, there were no regrets at all having my solemnization there, and my husband and his family shares the same sentiment. Mr Alan Foo from the restaurant had put together an amazing solemnization package for us, given the expertise and experience that he has with solemnization at the restaurant; plenty of couples have had their solemnization there before. The service was great, the ambience and decorations were great, the food was immensely delicious, but what struck us the most was the effort that Alan and his staff had put in to make this a success for us. I wish to thank Alan and his team of wonderful staff for putting the solemnization package together for us. 10 out of 10 would recommend The Blue Ginger Tanjong Pagar to anyone who wishes to solemnize, or for regular get-togethers and meals.
