My personal experience as a customer at The Ballroom. Wedding day: Hands down my family and guests were very happy of how the wedding turned out. From the professionalism of the Reception team(in-charge were Zainal and Wan) , to the decoration of the venue, to the food (No doubt hands down the food was beyond exceptional, to an extent we will order food from them for occasions) Planning phase: Unfortunately, the planning phase wasn’t so smooth. The disappointing part of the planning phase was that, it was a clash between the client’s wants vs what the planner thinks is best for the couple, hence the 3 star. As a bride, of course I would want to feel special on my day and likewise, I would love the same for my family and friends. One of the issue was that the management initially told us that the basic things, such as the table's decoration and center pieces, would not be provided and we would have to purchase them ourselves as it was deemed ‘not important’. Only after tough discussion with him, that they finally decided to give in and provide us with these basic items. That is just the surface with regards to the issues we faced when planning with the team. I will not go deeper into it as we have deemed this the past, and that we have reconciled the matter with the management. I will say that the planning phase was such a stressful and unpleasant experience which i wish it wasn’t that case as it still baffles me when I think about it. Conclusion: A Wedding only happens once in a lifetime. It involves a lot of time, emotions and money. Hence, the only feedback that I have for the management would be, to have better communication with future couples and listen to their wants with the balance of what they will advise rather than dictating. I understand that the management have lots of experience with regards to weddings but to also be open to suggestions would be gratifying. In fact, I personally am very thankful to all the suggestions given. Ultimately it should be up to the bride and groom to decide what they want/need. All in all, Alhamdulillah I am grateful that the wedding day itself was beautiful and I hope future couples who are planning to have their wedding here, be mindful when planning.

Having attended a wedding here before, I knew it was a special place, and my own celebration only reinforced that belief. From the moment we stepped in, the attention to detail in the decorations and the impeccable cleanliness caught my eye. The layout of the venue was not only aesthetically pleasing but also well thought out, providing a comfortable and elegant atmosphere for our special day. The food, especially the briyani, was a highlight and arguably one of the best in Singapore. Every bite was a burst of flavors, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it.
