"The photos also turned out really nice and you get to see the raw footages onsite itself too."

Food is great, and love the atmosphere especially! Great service from Ana! She totally made our day. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and she gave us a complimentary cake and drinks! She's very friendly and helpful. Great hospitality from her made us feel happier on our anniversary!

My sister had her wedding here and quite honestly, it was the worst wedding venue and staff I have ever experienced. Firstly, before the banquet started, my brother had a medical situation. Having vomited 3 times, he was dehydrated, pale, and clearly in distress. However, Monti staff repeatedly refused his requests for a glass of water as "The banquet service has not yet started, so we cannot serve you anything because it is not part of the package the couple paid for." My sister-in-law had to beg the staff several times and they had to get the manager's approval to serve a glass of water to someone clearly in medical distress. They only gave him a glass of water after the canapes service began. My brother ended up being sent to the hospital via ambulance, but the staff could not be bothered to help clear a path for the ambulance crew to bring in the stretcher and equipment. We had to clear the tables on our own. Secondly, when the banquet started, Monti did not cater enough food for all the guests. Bread rolls ran out and there was not enough for all the guests, the number of which had clearly been communicated to the restaurant beforehand. When the bride and bridegroom went onto the stage for the cake-cutting ceremony, the general manager even quarreled with the emcee in the presence of the guests. The staff had not prepared a knife to cut the cake with, nor had they prepared the champagne and champagne tower. When asked about it, the general manager argued loudly that he would only follow his serving schedule to put the cake knife and set up for the champagne popping when the main course was served. The main course had already been served to most tables at that point, but he still argued loudly with the emcee in front of the wedding guests which created an embarrassing and uncomfortable situation. Thirdly, throughout the event, the air-conditioning in the restaurant was malfunctioning. It was unbearably hot inside the restaurant during the banquet, and to make matters worse, the general manager had the staff switch off the air-conditioning towards the end of the event to force us leave quickly. He even harshly snapped at the bride "Your event is over, you have to leave" when she was taking a last few photos with guests and family. Throughout the event, staff would also report to work by walking through the main aisle of the restaurant without regard for what was occurring. In sum, the general manager was a rude and condescending person, the staff were appallingly poorly trained, and both treated my ill brother with a level of callousness that can only be described as shocking. I would warn any couple against holding their wedding at Monti. It was an extremely poor experience, exacerbated by the general manager's despicable behavior. This restaurant and its staff, especially the general manager, is an embarrassment to Singapore and the hospitality industry here.

I was the emcee for a wedding lunch at Monti. Food was good but the service was atrocious. Firstly, it was mid day, and for some reason, the aircon was not functioning well. All the wedding guests were literally sweating in the restaurant! Those sitting near the huge windows were worse off as they had sun shining on them plus hardly any aircon! As the emcee, I was drenched in sweat! To make matters worse, the GM's attitude was rigid and non customer focused. The wedding coordinator's guidance on timings were different from the GM running operations that day. It resulted in the wedding cake and the couple on stage with no knife and no champagne tower! Worse still, the GM could tell me off that he hadn't finish serving the main meals. He told me off on stage in front of the wedding guests! His explanation: he doesn't follow the timings on the agenda but he follows the number of dishes served! Absolutely ridiculous. For a restaurant of this price point, the service was a big fail. I had dined at Monti a on a few occasions but today's wedding experience was terrible. I felt sorry for the guests and sorry for the couple. Highly recommend that Monti relooks at their service abilities especially when hosting events. And they have a GM that will chase customers away.

Attended a wedding & dinner here. Maybe due to the number of wedding guests, it felt quite squeezed. Given the size of the restaurant, I would have preferred the volume of the music/singing be toned a couple of notches lower to enable conversations to be less strenuous. The toilet capacity is inadequate for a large crowd.
