In normal circumstances, I usually won't leave a bad review on a small business but due to the amount of headache he has caused and ignoring follow-up after the event, I just want to share my quick review. Was a groomsmen for my friends wedding. All I can say is it was a very poor service from them. Had to work with the DJ directly, and he did not know how to even use the DJ equipment at the start. Hence, during important moments such as the bride & groom walking in, it was just quiet. He did learn how to eventually, but he was still unable to perform properly. Even the emcee was one of the visitors who volunteered to help. Seems like the company hired somebody with no experience and didn't bother to even train him. There is more such as the decorations being quite average, the kompang team not knowing what to do, and many having diarrhoea the day after. Worst is that the owner is not taking responsibility and ignoring my friend's messages. Please avoid

Disclaimer. I was a Groom that paid for his service. This is a Scam. Nightmare of a wedding day. Please do not be bought by the cheap rates that the owner Hafiz is giving. To every wedding that he conducts is a quick cash grab. Better to just pay more from a reputable wedding service. To summarize, Hafiz' negligence caused 70+ of my attendees to have diarrhea as he served the food cold. Basic thing such as warmers are not even available. To add on further: 1) To receve a high profit margin, he employed foreigner waitering service which were unprofessional and could not even speak Malay/English. 2) 12pm event starts, nothing was set up, workers strolling in. Guests starts coming and yet literally nothing was set up not even the food nor drinks. He is not present as well. 3) Wedding decor was said to be as '2nd hand grab from rubbish schute' from the quality of it. Chipped off and unpresentable. 4) Food was restricted and drink was not even topped up. We paid a hefty and extras as well and yet they were restrictive and serving the food. The kuih was not even placed properly in a presentable way(shown in picture). Halfway through the event drinks finish, the groom's family had to even go to nearby mart to buy drinks. Very shameful situation. 5) Incompetent DJ. A random person who has employed to be the DJ did not know how to use the Music and did not even put up the playlist that was given by the Groom. The lists just goes on. Best thing is, Hafiz ghosted and did not even reply to any messages after a few texts after the wedding. The trauma that he caused to the family. The relevant authorities such as Food Safety(SFA) and even the MOH has taken action against his company. This matter have been raised to CASE and we have lodged a report to the Small Claims Tribunals. And there is still no replies from him. I hope that no one else will go through what the Groom and the attendees went through. If he sees this, You may not be trialed now, but there's this thing called judgement day. You will be held accountable for all the couples and weddings that you have destroyed just for a quick cash grab.

Wow where do I even begin. Have to really warn future brides and grooms to avoid this vendor as much as possible and to instead go ahead with a more reputable vendor for venue, food and deco. So many excuses throughout our short time liaising with Hafiz, would be difficult to trust that its a one-stop service for weddings. I believe Nurhikmah tried to venture out under a different name aka Aldrich Events and Co and they were advertising on IG for a period of time (not sure why the change of name, branding perhaps). Prices were v competitive so my fiance and I decided to check them out. I viewed One Farrer Hotel’s Grand Ballroom and my fiance viewed Begonia Ballroom at DTE. 1. Requested 50% deposit for One Farrer Hotel Ballroom. When we went for viewing, they mentioned the price is inclusive of Ballroom 1&2 (aka Grand Ballroom). However when I was about to confirm my booking, they mentioned that it only covered one ballroom. They agreed to give us a “special price” but requested for a 50% deposit. Was v uncomfortable with the approach and sat on the offer for a while but team was extremely pushy and was sending IG DMs (yes they only comms over IG until deposit is paid) everyday. Funny bc when my fiance confirmed and deposited for his venue, hafiz went MIA 😂 I did not end up going ahead w them bc didnt have a good feeling (thank God). 2. Fiance deposited amount for his venue but they did not issue an invoice originally till we requested. Invoice was tardy, with diff font sizes used and typos thruout document. Zero in terms of professionalism. 3. MIA. When my fiance tried to contact team on IG to answer a few queries, they were extremely unresponsive. Had to send a message multiple times. Was worse when Hafiz took over haha. He introduced himself as the owner so we were relieved for a second till it all went downhill. A simple qn such as whether we were allowed to bring in an external vendor for desserts took him three weeks to respond to. Multiple excuses: off days on Monday for team, team down with COVID and being hospitalised. Husnuszon for abit but it was an apparent pattern. 4. Fiance didnt feel good about Aldrich/Nurhikmah so wanted to forego his deposit but wanted the transfer of venue to be under his name. We sought help from another vendor and Begonia management and to our horror, he never paid the deposit for the ballroom even when the deposit was paid months earlier. As such, it was only a soft booking and we couldve potentially lost the venue. We requested for a full refund of our deposit given that a simple task wasnt fulfilled… he agreed and told us to wait for an update from his sales team but his “sales team” appeared unaware of the cancellation and that the “wedding will still happen”. Ignored my fiances calls and text for a few weeks until I stepped in. Answered the call immediately. Told him I would love to avoid a legal battle regarding this issue. Got an update from Begonia mgmt that they received partial deposit ($1k) for the ballroom (i guess he had to pay to trf the ownership of booking to my fiance). He was due to pay another $1k but did not happen. We decided to forego the rest of the deposit bc it was honestly SO exhausting chasing after him and Begonia mgmt also tried to chase him on their end. Weddings are once in a lifetime event for most. Seeing the reviews, I can only say Im sorry to brides and grooms who eventually picked this vendor to do up their wedding. Wedding planning is stressful as it is, if vendors cant make it better, at least dont make it worse. If u cant commit to this, please exit the industry. Bersangka baik is one thing, but when it comes at the detriment of peoples happiness, it has got to go. So so glad we escaped a nightmare after reading the reviews. Thought we experienced a one-off when it came to this vendor so did not leave a review initially. Weddings are rly not cheap so to other brides and grooms affected, our lawyer friends advised that you can also report to CASE or bring this case up under small claims tribunals if you have proof of their tardiness.
