Sharing my review for JD film production, I was a bride who had my wedding on Nov 2023: It was a terrible experience, we engaged JD film production (director's package) under David as the director. (8 hours videography) David's lack of professionalism was evident throughout. Before our wedding, we only get one zoom meeting with him a week before the actual day. We scheduled a Zoom meeting before the wedding to review our timeline and address any concerns. The excel timeline clearly indicated a clear schedule and that we intended to play the morning highlights for our guests immediately after the march-in. Yet on the actual day, they were all over the place and unsure when we wanted the actual day video to be shown to the guests, and even had the audacity to ask us about it just as we were marching in. Our groomsmen told them to focus on the editing of the video and have the other videographer to shoot the night highlights, yet they decided that two videographers were needed to sit in front of the computer and do the video edit WITHOUT ANYONE TAKING THE NIGHT EVENTS. We were dismayed that they failed to capture our once-in-a-lifetime moments for our night ceremony, and their delay in delivering the morning video disrupted our entire schedule. Instead of taking responsibility, they shifted the blame onto my groomsmen. Their failure to fulfill their obligations and their careless service is utterly unacceptable. I would strongly advise against hiring them, except perhaps for my worst enemies. Putting unprofessionalism aside, David's style doesn't reflect the work he showcased on Instagram or YouTube. The highlight was very amateur, with recycled and lazy cinematography and video editing. There were very shaky shots and choppy editing. It truly reflects his behavior. With the same budget, I believe you can find someone more professional and passionate. So this is just my experience with them, others might have different experiences.
