We first learned about York Hotel through its Wedding Showcase in 2024. From the start, we were attended to by very experienced hotel staff who were friendly and more than willing to answer our questions. Although the venue is slightly further from public transport, the lobby greeted us with classy, old-money vibes that felt both elegant and welcoming. Our assigned sales manager, Jacky, was extremely attentive to our needs and wedding preferences. Every time we met him, we managed to tick items off our wedding checklist. He also ensured that our requested wedding rooms—for ourselves, family, and bridesmaids—were properly arranged, and he was always on top of details such as sound system checks. We would highly recommend Jacky if you are planning your wedding here. On the actual day, Shu Wei, our operations coordinator from York Hotel, was also very helpful and ensured everything ran smoothly. Many of our guests complimented the food, especially the dessert Orh Nee, which was my personal favourite as well. Overall, we were very satisfied with our wedding dinner banquet at York Hotel.

I had my wedding banquet held here. Well let’s say this rating eventually got a 5 star because of the Danice the manager who attended to me. Everything was thoroughly explained by danice. Well , she has been seeing through with our requests, very prompt response and replies offering top notch services. Initially the food tasting was terrible , salty and taste was all over. We wrote feed back, and Danice requested the chef to sit down together with us and hear our feedback. The food was so much better during the actual day serving The setup of the ballroom and reception were nicely done, ( that was also done by Steven! Operation manager Ensuring the setup and the flow of the event ) The suite was also fully equipped , though some stuffs like hair dryer and iron should be upgraded. It could have been a 3.5-4 star, well let’s say the hotel got a valuable asset (Danice) . Next time ask for her if you are holding a banquet there

Went there for a wedding banquet, the food is great and the price of the table is relative cheap. Very value for money. Although the car park can be quite small and quite a bit of walking distance from the nearest mrt.
