It was a truly 5-star experience hosting our wedding luncheon at voco Orchard. I felt very well taken care of throughout the whole process from our first recce of the venue to the actual wedding day. The high standard of service and professionalism of the staff allowed me to fully trust them with my wedding preparations such that my overall experience with voco Orchard felt fuss- and stress- free. Venue: The location is so convenient, a < 10 min walk from Orchard MRT. Although we didn't have enough tables for the Ballroom, we managed to book the Panorama Room on the top floor, which has a nice panoramic view of Orchard Road and is quite a cosy setup. The decor options provided by the hotel were also lovely. Service: My compliments to Sunshine Garcia, our Sales Manager, and Xin Hui, our Banquet Manager on the day, for their friendliness and overall professionalism. Sunshine was always responsive and tried her very best to accommodate all of our requests. Xin Hui was pro-active and so helpful on the day, even helping to lift or rearrange my gown train on a few occasions. Her passion and dedication to the job shines through. Even the hotel front desk staff were also very helpful, in processing our down payments for the event. Food: The food received high praise from many of our guests -- not just the main (Chinese/fusion) menu, but even the Halal and Indian vegetarian meals! There are several options per course to choose from, and we really appreciated this flexibility. Some of the dishes were also quite unusual/had a modern or fusion spin, rather than being standard (and perhaps boring) Chinese wedding dishes. The chefs also acted well on our feedback from the food-tasting session (e.g., in reducing sweetness of certain dishes). We were also impressed that they were able to accommodate our rather unusual request of serving the gravies and starch separately from the dishes for one table which had guests on a low sugar diet. Hotel perks: To sweeten the deal, voco Orchard also throws in many attractive and very competitive perks including a night's stay in a (bridal) suite, an extra Deluxe room, rebates off the final bill, dining credit, and even minor details like a bottle of champagne and wedding cake sent to the room after. This hotel used to be Hilton located at the top of Orchard Road. Location is good. The hotel is a bit old but clean to stay. I attended a wedding event which is located on the top floor so it pretty nice to have a wedding lunch with a view.

Guests complimented on the food and there was free flow wine/beer so we didnt have to worry so much and people could just enjoy their time with us!

Plus points - Affordable packages, flexibility in the food menu (all the way to the type of fish and style of cooking), head chef really listened to our feedback during food tasting & the dishes turned out really good, steady sales manager & banquet manager supporting us, & clean bridal room. After event room service was great, with chcoolate dipped strawberries & a bottle of champagne. The only downside was the lack of carpark spaces, which tbh was unavoidable. Nonetheless an overall pleasant experience with Voco!

Living up to voco’s reputation, this is the best service we have ever experienced in any hotel :) Our search for a wedding venue was short and sweet because of Anthony’s service and sincerity. He brought us around the ballrooms and answered our queries with utmost transparency and honesty. He provided valuable advice, given that he is well-experienced with weddings and helped us plan for a pleasant wedding experience. We really liked that in the end, we were confident of voco’s ability and Anthony assured us that he would be there to help if there are any changes we needed. Leading up to the wedding, Anthony followed up with us thoroughly and ensured all our discussions were documented and taken care of. On multiple occasions, we were pleasantly surprised by the additional concessions provided by Anthony to make our wedding a more comfortable one. During the food tasting, we were thoroughly impressed by the quality and taste of food! Especially the flexibility in choosing each dish of the Starter platter! This is a huge plus point as the variety made it so fun and interesting for our guests! They really enjoyed the chilli crab! With such great service, we decided to have a cosy dinner with our immediate families at Opus Bar & Grill the night before. As expected, we were greeted with spectacular service and wonderful food. We got the seafood platter, butcher platter as well as the steak under the excellent recommendation of Patricia. It was a very pleasant dinner that ended off sweetly with desserts from D9 too! It left everyone in a good mood and we were all ready for the wedding the next day. On the wedding day itself, everything went according to plan thanks to detailed planning from Alvin and Anthony who gave us so many pointers and advice. It was truly a wonderful experience not having to worry about the program, the cues, the AV etc because Alvin had everything settled and cared for. Our guests had such a pleasant experience with the service, especially on getting their glasses filled continuously. Furthermore the team went above and beyond to ensure that my husband & I were able to have our favourite dishes (Orhnee & Eefu Noodles) by sending a portion up to the room after the event. It is probably rare to hear this but my husband and I did not feel especially tired after the wedding, and we can't help but thank Alvin and Anthony for all the excellent arrangements made. On the day of the check out, we also had the best breakfast service from Push. After a restful night rest, it was the perfect breakfast to end our stay in voco. We were so so reluctant to leave! Overall, a fantastic experience for my husband, our families and me. We would recommend choosing voco to any couples getting married soon 🙂 Thank you team voco!
