Our wedding manager, Tan Yan Hui, has been super friendly right from the beginning when we met. We felt very welcomed right from the start and comfortable and decided to go with Westin to have our wedding. Along the way, whenever we needed advice/ help with the wedding day flow, we will check with Yan Hui and she was always very happy and friendly to give us some suggestions/ ideas, although for some of them she was not obliged to answer. She responded very quickly and almost felt like a wedding planner! We are really thankful to have Yan Hui be so helpful, and also helped us ease some nerves. During the site visit a few weeks before the wedding, our bridal party went down together and they were really impressed at how Yan Hui was able to run through the details and programme flow in details, and that she was so approachable and made us all feel at ease! The wedding lunch banquet went smoothly all thanks to Steve Ang, who was a great banquet manager, and with the help of his team. He was able to look at the overall flow of the program (which started from solemnisation, to tea ceremony, then the banquet lunch itself) and also anticipate what were things to prepare for in advance. On top of that, he also calmed us down when it was close to start time for our wedding. He was constantly checking in with guests to ensure food served and service were up to standards, and also checking with the kitchen and chef. Before marching into the venue, he also gave us a quick pep-talk and how we should pace our walk together, and how we can hold the wedding dress and enjoy the experience. That was really very helpful to calm us down. None of our guests told us any complaints in terms of service, food and experience. Instead, they were really impressed by how he was able to handle the whole banquet so well, and still be smiley and friendly! Aside from the delicious food served during the wedding, we truly believe that the service by Yan Hui and Steve really improved the experience both ourselves and our guests had during the wedding.

This is information when staying at the end of 2024. A total of 4 people, 2 adults and 2 elementary school children, stayed in 2 double rooms. When making a reservation, go to Marriott's official website and find that there is no difference in price or required points whether you are making a reservation for 2 adults or 4 people including children. My family made a reservation for 4 people. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed inside the club lounge, but they can use the children's room next door or outside by the pool. There was no additional charge at that time. The cocktail hour meals are of sufficient quality and quantity, and can be substituted for dinner during your stay. There is a Lao Pasa nearby, but I was so full from the lounge meals that I couldn't afford to go there. Also, as long as two adults ordered breakfast (platinum benefits are also accepted), two children were free as a Marriott member benefit. The children played in the infinity pool with a beautiful view for a long time. In summary, it was the best hotel for our family. If you are a Marriott Platinum member and are traveling with children under the age of 12, I think the cost performance is quite good.
