We held our wedding at The Outset and couldn’t be happier with the experience. It truly exceeded our expectations, especially considering the affordable price point. Gina, the venue manager, was incredibly helpful and responsive from start to finish. She allowed us to view the space before committing and even accommodated a one-hour rehearsal so our musicians could test their instruments with the venue’s AV system. Her flexibility and support gave us so much peace of mind. The venue was beautifully decorated in a modern, elegant theme—we hardly needed to add anything extra. The AV setup was also excellent and worked perfectly for our live music (guitar and keyboard). We were especially grateful for the bridal dressing room, which came with an attached toilet. It made getting ready on-site so much easier and saved us the hassle of preparing at home. Gina and the team were also very accommodating with our outsourced vendors: • Party Paradise (extra decorations) • Fromdeheart (photo booth) • Lav.Lers (flower booth) Our guests gave excellent feedback about the buffet—the food was delicious and generously portioned. A special touch that everyone loved was the kachang puteh station, which added a fun and nostalgic vibe right at the entrance. The only minor downside is the location. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk from Tai Seng MRT and located in an industrial area. The venue itself only provides three parking spots, though there are additional carparks within a 5-minute walk. This might be a consideration if you’re expecting rain or have many guests driving. Despite that, all our guests loved the cosy, relaxed atmosphere, and we’re so glad we chose The Outset. We highly recommend it to couples looking for a budget-friendly, well-equipped, and beautiful venue.

The Outset is the only Venue we went to visit for my wedding reception throughout my yearlong research. And we fell in love immediately with the vibe they offer and sign up after our visit. Big shout out to Gina for her assistance from the beginning to the end. Our wedding successfully ended on 29 June 24 with great feedback from my friends about the venue and the food.
