The overall experience was dreadful for a wedding night. When you imagine to have close family and friends all present for this wonderful day celebrating with the newly weds in the beautiful lighthouse. STOP, this is all not happening. The only thing that is worth remembering that night was the couple wedding day but not for the venue or service. Everything seems ok before the sun came down. Solemnization and tea ceremony was going well until the nightmare bomb drop when the dinner started. Firstly, the lighthouse was a small area that gives really cozy vibe at night which draw our liking to choose the place for the wedding. However, the aircon was blasting in full speed that freeze the place where the staff could not turn the temperature up. We have kids that are freezing throughout the night and staff just act nothing had happened. Then, here comes the most dramatic scene of the night, whereby the projector system is not working at all. Once again, the staff are not doing anything to help but just standing around. One even said “I just came back from a long leave, not too sure what is happening or know how to fix” ??? All of us there were just speechless for seconds. And no need for me to talk more on this as the whole thing is just bizarre. Next, food was served very slow and cold. Not sure if it was deliberately due to the delay of the projection system or they just could not get the food up on table. Kids meal first dish (soup) and second dish (fried rice) was served almost 45mins apart. By 8.30pm, kids only had soup since 7.45pm and are crying for more food. We approach the staff to serve kids meal first, and their response was “yes, it is coming” and yet kids meal were served last. Adults were feeding kids with their own food instead. More ridiculous thing happened, we have 6 young kids all aged below 8 which 4 are baby chair age and yet they were serving kids with glassware. Horrible. Lastly, the only thing that was FAST by the serving crew was clearing the plates. We have guests unfinished food being cleared without their knowing, interrupting guests talks just to clear the plates or when we had just finished our last bite, did not even have the chance to put down our utensils and here comes the crew asking if they could clear our plates. Honestly, we were all hoping that this could be the nicest venue with the closest family and friends, but only to end with complaints all over the place after the dinner. We were glad that it was just an intimate gathering and not get ourselves embarrassed by the service we had received. I doubt the wedding couple had paid less to deserve such service. I really hope the event team could step up on their service to be at least on par with the price.

So lousy. Left their restaurant event in shock after witnessing them screw up and embarrassing a couple who probably wasted so much money choosing this place for their wedding, only for their special night to get wrecked…. no accountability at all and did not even address the guests in the room to explain or apologize for their mistakes.

Shockingly poor experience from attending a wedding dinner hosted here on the 21st June 2024. I felt so bad for the newly weds for having their big day messed up by The Lighthouse. I thought the standard would be good since it’s part of The Fullerton Hotel, but it’s extremely underwhelming. The food portions are small and quality is average, not what you’d expect from an expensive restaurant in Fullerton Hotel. The upper management ought to look into actually investing in proper training for the ground staff and managers to ensure that paying customers get what they deserve.

Hahaha striked off this place for my wedding reception and dinner. Just attended a wedding dinner there and it was a circus show by the service team. Such a pity because the night view was great. But other than the view, nothing else was worth the price tag or hype. Food was meh, lukewarm food or cold. Definitely had better in cheaper wedding restaurant venues... But this is just the tip of the iceberg. I was very shocked at the lack of urgency and professionalism from the service team especially those 2 leads or managers there?! The wedding couple's wedding vid couldn't connect to their projector but neither could their laptop, like nothing was working? Other family members had to get up to help with the situation because after half an hour, it was clear they had no solution and was not concerned in the least in resolving their technical issue, much less resolving it asap. Someone in the family suggested to connect directly to the projector which was genius and it worked but this other lead or manager started shouting at them to stop and made them reconnect via the conventional method which we all know was clearly not working. And really, no surprise more delay and still not working after that. Yes, waste the entire wedding time, yes make wedding couple pay extra hours for the photographer. More than an hour wasted. Very good. I see what you did there Fullterton. Fantastic service. And to cap it off, my partner and I were so amused at how the other lead/manager continued to troubleshoot their top tier AV system while the wedding was still ongoing after the video. OMG LA. I wanted to ask this cousin issit they pay you to host your wedding here so they can do this and be this disrespectful?? Fullerton, good to see the real service behind the fancy stars and hype.
