The ballroom itself was spacious, stunning, and cozy, providing our guests with the ideal environment to celebrate this monumental occasion. The food served during the event also received overwhelmingly positive feedback from guests. We would also like to thank Mr. Shafiq (Floor Manager) and the many staff members who were on the ground that day for their efficiency in ensuring that the food was always topped up and available for our guests. Finally, we would like to extend our biggest appreciation and thanks to Mr. Zaidi AKA Obek Zaidi, our Wedding Planner. His outstanding professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond for our family meant that personal requests and needs were met. His exceptional sense of urgency and sincere desire to make our vision a reality meant that any concerns were addressed almost immediately. For example, while we were planning where to source specific Malay ethnic decorations (Bunga manggar), he immediately said that he would be more than happy to provide them for free including the yellow umbrella. During the event itself, he was always readily available and actively checking up on us while asking if we need any assistance. As promised to obek zaidi here is our honest review about our wedding that was held at Iris on the morning of 8/8/26. Pros: Thank you to Iris and obek for going the extra mile to ensure that our request and questions asked were fulfilled. Although there were some confusion on the earlier part of our conversations with obek but alhamdulillah everything worked out in the end. Indeed the atmosphere and food served for the event were delicious and alot of our guests gave wonderful compliments for the food served. Good job Iris! Cons: Alhamdulilah, everything was perfect for us. Well almost perfect. While we as the couple appreciate Obek for helping with our enquiries/requests, we were kind of dissapointed when obek insist on walking down with us on our wedding reception with the kompang. While we appreciate him for his help, i suggest when the next time another couple gets married its better he gets the couple permission first before he tries to do this. Kind of spoilt the mood for us. Our guests were wondering who he is and why he walks with us. But thinking back, im grateful to Obek zaidi for all the help in preparing for our wedding. Overall, to those couples who would love to held their wedding in Iris city plaza we highly recommend this place. Look for Obek zaidi for enquiries and inshaAllah he really helps with all your needs.
