We had our outdoor wedding at Shangri-La Rasa last March 2023. The event team at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa was professional and strived their best to make our wedding day as stress-free as possible. Special shoutout to Augustina (Event Manager), since the first day we recce the place unannounced, she has been very accommodating and made us feel very comfortable from day 1 to the actual day! We knew from that day that we’ll be in good hands and she didn’t disappoint us. From planning, follow ups and execution, she was there to always assist us and made us feel that everything’s gonna be okay. Having her as our Event Manager was a blessing as we felt that she went the extra mile to deliver beyond what is expected. We knew that Shangri-La Rasa is the perfect place for sunset wedding but the people behind it are the ones who made our wedding even more magical and unforgettable one. We’d also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Elaine (Banquet in-charge), Zuen and Silvan (AV Team), and the Chefs from Western Kitchen Team. All our guests can’t stop complimenting the food and service! They were all delighted despite of some delays and overruns on our program. They worked tirelessly behind the scene and our wedding flowed without a hitch thanks to them. Our families have also enjoyed their 3D&2N stay at Shangri-La Rasa as there were lots of activities and facilities for them. We really liked the outdoor venues but it drizzled halfway through our ceremony so we had to shift dinner indoors. Even though it wasn't our first choice, the wet-weather ballroom (Horizon Pavilion) the hotel provided was still really nice and the food was really good (BBQ Buffet). We also extended our stay to 3D2N with our families and everyone had a great time - especially the kids as there are a lot of activities and facilities for them. Very grateful to our coordinator, Augustina and chef Alex for making our day amazing. Augustina was very responsive and organized throughout the planning process and accommodated all our requests. Chef Alex also listened to our feedback from the tasting dinner and made changes accordingly. The banquet staff were also very attentive and flexible on the actual day - shifting dinner indoors on short notice etc.
