Heritage-quality architecture well preserved and maintained. Prime and convenient location in the city for touring too. Rooms can be a little dark because of its old design but it sure provides a unique vibe too. Amazing green lawn surrounded by classing buildings. Simply beautiful for tourists and events. The Jubilee Ballroom is big to cater for weddings too. ( Photo copyrights @KAI_Picture )

I went to Raffles hotel for a wedding receptioned. The hotel has been preserved and maintained so the building still showing its majesty from the past. The staffs were very friendly and helpfull. The facilities were above the 5 stars rating for a hotel.

Worst custom service team for wedding banquet I’ve met. Poor attitude and very very delayed response to email enquiries even when we have already paid for the wedding. Pls feedback.

This review is regarding a wedding at Raffles Hotel's Jubilee Ballroom. We held a wedding at Raffles Hotel sometime last month based on a wedding package for the reception to be at the Jubilee Ballroom. Everything about the wedding from the food to the venue was fantastic. However, Shane Tan (who was the main contact of liaison for all wedding matters) simply had very poor service, was rude and irresponsible. When we sent him queries via email, he was irresponsive and did not reply our emails. Even when he did (after repeatedly emailing him on the same queries), it was always a few days late. What made it worse was that during the day before the wedding, we again contacted him to ask for confirmation that everything is in order for the wedding reception the following day. Again, he went radio silent and did not respond. Very poor service from a supposed 5 star wedding hotel venue, and for the top dollar we are paying to host a wedding reception at Raffles Hotel. Whenever we had small requests, he would also always tell us off that "other couples do it this way" in a really condescending manner. A wedding is supposed to be a special moment for the couple and there is no reason why Shane should keep telling us to conform with how other couples run the wedding. The best part is - the cheek of him to suddenly act all friendly and warm during the wedding reception itself, asking us how we found the service and all (although it was another manager who managed the reception service during the day who did a great job), hoping to get a red packet from us. What a shame and embarrassment really.

Attended a beautiful wedding at this hotel but the service was extremely poor. Everyone had to ask for their drinks multiple times before they were served. I expected much more from such a prestigious hotel. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.
