Just had my wedding banquet held at Park Royal on Beach Road on 16 Feb. Not only was the ballroom beautiful, the food and service was excellent too. We would like to specially point out 2 persons, Irvin Yeo and Tan Yao Quan from the banquet team. We first met them during our food tasting session, they were patient and guided us through what to look out for and gave useful advices. After which, we requested to have the both of them to be our banquet team in-charge on the actual day. On the actual day, not only they took great care of us, they also ensured the entire flow of the dinner was a smooth one. During the briefing with our brothers and sisters, they guided them and gave them clear instructions and advices. The dinner wouldn't be a smooth one without their flawless execution. We were really impressed with how detailed they were and how well we were being taken care of. We truly recommend couples to hold their wedding at Park Royal on Beach Road, not only the location was great, the ballroom is beautiful and the service was awesome!

Honestly, our wedding coordinator, Felicia, was toooooo busy we really had a hard time communicating with her via WhatsApp or call. We were honestly pretty upset for the lack of communication. I cannot remember how many times our names mentioned wrongly. Otherwise, Felicia was honest, straightforward and gave logical advice. Without a doubt, her years of experience means you can trust on her advice. We did not expect her to oversee the wedding on the AD but she did and made sure everything was in placed. Bridal suite was big and considerately designed. Smooth check in and had the chance for an early check in too. However, this is only a one night stay. Bridal suite is tagged to the ballroom for dinner (as we were told) There is only one conference room so only one couple gets the ballroom(we didn’t) We had to use our ballroom for our solemnisation and the earliest time to start is 6pm. Also had to go back to the hotel room to change to the next dress. Can request for Irvin for banquet manager (though he was unavailable to work at our ballroom) The venue itself was good. Although not as convenient since it is a walk to the MRT station. Ball room has three projector screens (one side) and 2 huge ass LED panel (front and back). We had our photos displayed on the 2 LED screens and our guest mostly gathered at the back screen for photos. It is a pity but I think we could have taken all the group photos there instead of going table by table. Free flow alcohol (that was part of our package) was legit free flow…didn’t have any complains that drinks were served slowly. Food was great, serving was huge. Our guests complained.. that they were too full. 😅

Beautiful hotel with nice greenery the 3* is for the hotel view only. However food was horrible. Went for wedding dinner . Seriously disappointed compare to what I had last month @ Conrad. The apetitser.. seriously the plating looks pathetic. Only the salad prawn is nice. The soup was bland and very starchy The chilly crab only has two pathetic cube of crab meat and the sauce I think any coffeeshop can cook better. The yam paste was dry and very dry. Steam fish was alright. Service was in a mess. A table of eight there will be two guest getting the food while the rest will be serve by a few waiter popping by here and there. No system as all. The so call supervisor was all the way black face.. not sure why but he doesn't look happy.

Came here for a friend’s wedding banquet. It may be a little confusing at first to find the banquet hall as it is in a separate building from the reception counter. Simply ask the friendly staff for directions if needed. The setup at the wedding reception area and hall were elaborate and definitely had a sense of occasion. The dinner course was delightful - a selection of classic Chinese dishes that used fresh ingredients and prepared well by the kitchen and serving staff.
