Used to frequent here, had my wedding here and attended many functions here. came back yesterday to revisit and oh my god... terrible terrible yelling coming from someone's function, sounded like someone is trying to sing. super disappointed yet again. having my peaceful evening walk ruined. if it weren't for the Fairprice i wouldn't even have bothered making the visit. every aspect of experience, the quality of this clubhouse have declined. every visit used to be vibrant, lively and jubilant back in 2008 and 2009. which made me and my girlfriend then(now wife) wanting to have our banquet there. But i have realised after, through the years of attending functions here, i had to pay for mostly everything and not everything could be comprehended for our big night. Still it was a really good and memorable night with nothing but quality, standards. Totally nothing to complain about. Thereafter, a few other events and receptions i attended here, most of them they seem to have many complains to the sales team and apparently they could get everything they wanted or demanded as long as they made it clear that they are not happy and wanting to complain? free extended timing, free corkages, free aircon. i remembered clearly that i paid for all of these. not sure who the club committee , banquet manager and sales manager are now. but i know the image they are giving to this clubhouse now is very very bad and cheap. so sad to see this once beautiful and glorious place become like this 17 years too late but shoutout to the team that handled my event. we remember your names clearly, not sure if you are still there but we really appreciate everything that you have done that night. Hotel rooms with late check-out request have to update all room cards on the morning on the extended day, can be hassle if many rooms are booked. venue coordinators need to be reminded to reply queries regularly. faced issues with the bridal vendor under venue package. same venue coordinator helped to liaise the feedback to the bridal vendor. but issue is still not resolved after the wedding and ignored communciation after that.

Ww have had two very good experiences (wedding dinner reception & family gathering) I have also attend. Few corporate events here. We have had an overall great experience. What brings us here repeatedly, is the warmt and genuine nature of the staff.
