I stayed here one week for our 50th wedding Anniversary and it was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in and believe me I’ve travelled the world and stayed in great and well known hotels. I have loads of photos to share with anyone to prove I’m not whinging or making a story up. Just send me a message and I’ll forward them on. The CEO didn’t care about the dirtiness , dusty floors in the rooms and near the elevators and bedroom carpet like someone pooped on it. The lights are so dim on each floor that they don’t want you to notice the dirt. I complained to the Singapore Hotel authority, but they weren’t interested either so no more Singapore holidays for me. Maybe they were scared to file my complaint report and fine them for dirty premises. The food for breakfast and dinner time shocking and the plastic glasses for breakfast were so old and scratched… Better go eat down Orchard road restaurants or at the pub opposite. DISGUSTING!!!

Hello fellow BTB and GTB, just held our wedding at Orchard Hotel (16 tables, whimsical themed, Ballroom 3, Lavender Room 2 Solemnisation) and would like to further attest to the positive reviews like the one we had at Orchard Hotel. We were really well taken care of not only during AD but also throughout our stay at Orchard Hotel, very amazed by the prrofessionalism by the team. Hotel Coordinator, Sunshine was reassuring, helped and looked out for us every step of the way. Even one day leading up to the wedding, we had requested for last minute dietary change to our VIP table guest, she was able to offer suggestions that we are happy to proceed with. As we brought up the feedbacks that we had seen/heard during our final meeting, such as leaking aircon in Lavender Room, dirty utensils, and wrong food portions served for 11 people tables etc. She was very confident that the relevant teams are aware of it and will look into it and ensure all are well prior to our event. She also highlighted to us that if there were anything that we were unhappy with, to raise it up to the Banquet Manager immediately and not keep mum about it. Mr Nelson, our Banquet Manager was truly the best. He made sure the entire night was smooth and easy for us. Everything ran smoothly and when needed, liaised with our best man instead of reaching out to us couple for decision making. He was really professional and it made our experience all the more positive. Mr Sufri from AV was also the best, we didn't have time for a last minute rehearsal prior to the event but he was professional and knew what we wanted. When we did a "drop" mid way of our first march in, all we did was mention that to him, and we were amazed to look back at footages to see a spotlight quickly hitting us at that spot when we had not managed to rehearse with Mr Sufri ahead of time. Food from Hua Ting was flawless. They really adjusted the food according to our requests during food tasting and every dish was a hit! The guests were filled to the brim by the generousity of their servings. There were only more and more praises about the food, claiming it was better than so and so haha. Only thing mentioned was food served was not warm enough and that's about it. Overall a great experience, and would definitely recommend anyone to proceed with Orchard Hotel for your wedding. Your guests will leave feeling belly happy for sure :)

Hi, just held our wedding at Orchard Hotel recently and would like to share some positive feedbacks. For reference, Sunshine was my wedding coordinator and Mr Kevin, Simon & Keith are the main people in charge of our wedding. All of them including the banquet staffs were very helpful. AV manager - Mr Ariffin and team made sure everything went very smoothly during the AD. When my Macbook has issue connecting during AV testing, Mr Sufri from AV helped resolved the issue. Solemnisation room and the actual banquet went really smoothly. 😍 requests made by us was also fulfilled prior/ on our AD Food from Hua Ting was great too, big portion & my guests really love it Overall, I really recommend Orchard Hotel & their service 💯

Just had my wedding last month at Orchard hotel for dinner banquet. Do think twice to host your wedding here, as guests will be DISAPPOINTED by their service which they mentioned that they take pride in “providing exceptional guests experiences”. First off, which is the ONLY good note of the whole wedding dinner was the food by HUATING! Food was absolutely delicious, no doubt. Complements from all the guests as well, which is the only saving grace of our wedding. Everything else ruined my once in a life time wedding experience! So we have multiple back and forth emails and calls prior to the wedding day. And also went down to OHS for meeting with the sales assistant manager- Events, sunshine, to discuss and confirmed on details for actual day. Was also told that I’m able to go down for AV testing but yet was forgotten about it. And we have to make another trip down. So with all these discussion made, how can they still screwed up the color of the VIP chair sash and the position of the AV table. When questioned, they push the blame and ask why didn’t we (the couple!) go down to the ballroom to check to make sure everything was ok? Then what was the point of us having calls and f2f meetup to confirm on our decisions made! They will super inflexible as well, and there are no room for discussions. When asked if we are able to check in earlier on the actual day as we need to have our makeup done before solemnisation, sunshine mentioned that we have to topup extra for early checkin even without checking if it’s possible. It was only after asking her multiple times to check and was able to squeeze for check in at 2pm instead of 3pm. As we are very tired from these back and forth meetings on our first day as married couple! Talking to 2 different manager (that wasn’t customer experience manager) and repeated the problem for the 3rd time, they are still unable to give us a proper answer to all the problems and yet pushing the blame on us. So these are the problems I faced and hopefully all the future couples do not have to go through the same as us. *ROM ROOM* 1. Audio wasn’t loud enough, sound proof is very bad, keep overhearing the other room 2. Water leaking at the back of the room (mentioned was condensation issue due to lowering of temperature as we have many pax inside, however, the water leaking started even before solemnisation started. Chairs were not even fully occupied. Not sure how its related to too many pax) *RECEPTION* 1. Signage and barricade of area between ballroom 3 and our ballroom are not very clear causing many of our guests going to the wrong ballroom. *BALLROOM* 1. Audio connection was poor inside even with our 2 new laptops. 2. AV table wasn’t placed at the correct position when already converse many times to be on the left side, causing my helper to standby at the audio table almost entire time as audio table was far from his seat. 3. Staffs don’t know how to solve the issues and yet needed my side people to solve the audio issue and fix the AV problems. (Staff tried to connect to specific connection but he still unable to solve it) 4. No contingency plan to solve issues and yet my people have to think of using own ipad to play music through the mic for March in to take place. 5. In a rush to open door and for couple to March in when the whole ballroom is still dark and led screen wasn’t even ready and is still black screen 6. Crabmeat sauce with bun dish wasn’t given a bowl at some tables and yet some tables have it. No consistency on this and when requested for bowls, they mention: we don’t serve bowl, only plate. 7. VIP CHAIR sash color wasn’t the correct one as communicated. 8. One of Emcee mic sounds weird 9. Unnecessary comments & choice of words from staff on choices of music. *OTHERS* 1. Bringing over the banquet invoice for couple to sign when there are guests still hanging around outside reception area, it wasn’t a nice sight to see 2. Also, to note that, is not for F&B manager - BING , to tell the couple to “move on and stop hovering on this” Think twice!
