Wedding coordinator Gowri was non-responsive and caused us lots of frustration during that 2-3 months leading up to my actual day. Multiple promptings were needed to chase for a response. On the actual day, found a mistake made by her regarding guest list display which was very unprofessional. Overall, the venue, decor, and food were great. Thanks to the helpful banquet team on the actual day. However, it was not a very good experience with the wedding coordinator. I hope the management can do something about the service.

Came here for food tasting for my wedding. Food is good tasting and generous portion. Head chef Andy Chiew is very kind man. ------------------------------ I would like to write a letter of recommendation for Gowri, Asli and Chef Andy. I held my wedding banquet at novotel on the 3 Dec 2022 and they and their team went out of their way to ensure that our wedding was a success. Ms Gowri was there every step of the way to advise us on all our queries regarding the banquet, she was ever so patient in explaining all the details despite being her Nth time doing it. Ms Gowri also resolved a miscommunication between the Chef and us regarding the pricing and food choices, Ms Gowri gave us the assurance that Novotel would honour what was conveyed to us and it made us feel that Novotel deals fairly with customers. Mr Asli, our banquent manager, was very sincere and warm. He guided us throughout our dry run and made sure we were well informed during our actual day. I learnt that Mr Asli has a hectic schedule, often staying in the hotel for the weekend events. I must say that Ms Gowri and Mr Asli are super dedicated workers. Chef Andy, also a very pleasant man, greeted us during our food tasting. He was very open to our requests during food tasting and made accommodations. Feedback from my guests were that the food was superb and portion sizing was large. None of my guests left hungry. Keep it up! Overall, i feel that the entire team at Novotel is very sincere, warm and accomodative. The team definitely feels like a helping hand in the most stressful of times planning for our wedding banquet.
