Went for friends wedding & asking concierge to borrow us umbrella, the Malay staff was a bit unprofessional by the way he ask us if we are hotel guest or not..I will understand if hotel unable to lend the umbrella but we cannot except the way he explain was unprofessional & rude
Rooms are pretty dim but beds were comfy! The Toilet has every basic necessities for a short stay too. House keeping staff were so friendly and approachable with us requesting for more bottled water and I even saw them taking out the fridge to clean! Wedding banquet food was also yummy. The car park is not huge so if there is an event, it can be full and you won't have a place to park.

Had wedding here. Experience with wedding team was good and follow up was prompt. To faciliate logistics, booked 2 rooms a day before for family/brothers to prepare, but there was some hiccups with front desk during check in (while we requested for the rooms to be on the same floor months ago, rooms on separate levels were given)..this however, was eventually resolved after some push/pressure. Separately, the smoke effect for bride march in also malfunctioned during march in. To add on, feedback from the guests was that the banquet food wasnt on par in terms of their usual experience dining at imperial, but understand that taste could be subjective. Separately, our guest feedback the serving food service was slow as well. From our own experience, there was indeed some variance from our food tasting day compared to the actual wedding banquet food. Nonetheless, the overall experience was well, and it was value for money for a 4 star hotel. Special shout out to complement our wedding coordinator, Don Eng. Don was understanding, experienced in handling our wedding queries, and was always prompt in his reply. These are indeed good traits of a wedding coordinator and he emulate the going the extra mile for his clients. It had been a joy to have him as our wedding coordinator 😊🙏
