If you're planning your wedding here, I hope our experience helps you make an informed choice. We got married at Conrad Singapore Orchard recently, and a number of issues left us really disappointed, especially considering the reputation and price point. Support and coordination fell short Our wedding specialist was changed quite close to the event, and the support in the final days wasn’t what we expected. Even though we were told he’d be around to guide us, he wasn’t present during several key moments - including AV testing, rehearsal, and most of the wedding day itself. This left us feeling lost and stressed when we should’ve been focusing on enjoying the day. Some of our guests and wedding party also mentioned that unfamiliar people were brought into the ballroom to view the venue while our event was going on. We weren’t informed about this, and it made us feel like the privacy of our wedding wasn’t being safeguarded. Food and menu issues We chose the venue partly because of the Michelin-starred restaurant, so the food was something we looked forward to. Unfortunately, both the tasting and the final dishes on the day didn’t meet expectations. Several guests said some courses were just average or below what they expected from a place with this reputation. On top of that, the printed menus listed alcohol even though we specifically requested a non-alcoholic wedding, which caused unnecessary confusion. AV challenges During the wedding day, we experienced some audio issues. The AV technician took a long time to troubleshoot, and in the end we had to skip a segment of our programme because it couldn’t be resolved in time. Overall A wedding is a huge milestone, and while there were staff members who genuinely tried to help, the overall experience didn’t feel smooth or reassuring as some of the issues we faced seemed to be avoidable. We went in expecting a higher level of care and coordination, and we left feeling quite let down. Hopefully this helps other couples decide whether this venue is the right fit for them.

My hotel wedding coordinator was Grace Lum. She had been an excellent support to my now husband and myself through the planning process. On the actual day, the banquet manager, Nafeez, was v attentive to my husband and my needs. We felt v taken care by them! I'll highly recommend Grace Lum as a wedding sales coordinator :)

We chose Conrad for our wedding banquet as they are reputable for having great food from the summer palace. We met Grace, our salesperson, who was very detailed in explaining the banquet package and to our enquiries. The chef also gave good recommendations for food alternatives and also was very receptive to feedback. Vanessa, our coordinator, has taken very good care of our needs and making sure that everything is in place. She is also very responsive! Anba, our banquet floor manager, ran the show flawlessly. Once everything is aligned everything ran very smoothly. Many thanks to the team, and for making it a memorable experience!
