Our experience with the wedding package at Concorde Hotel Singapore was unfortunately mixed and fell short of expectations for such an important occasion. The main challenge was working with the assigned Wedding Coordinator, Barley. Communication was consistently slow and unresponsive, which created unnecessary stress during the planning process. Many of our requests or ideas were dismissed with references to “company policy,” rather than being approached with flexibility or a willingness to explore solutions. For example, even a simple request for pens for the signing of the marriage certificate was not handled helpfully. We also found some responses to be unprofessional in tone, including remarks such as “Normally understanding couple will understand…,” which came across as sarcastic and dismissive. This was disappointing, especially when couples are looking for reassurance and support during wedding preparations. That said, we would like to acknowledge the positive efforts of Kenneth, Director of Catering, and Stephen, Banquet Manager. Both were professional, accommodating, and made genuine efforts to understand our ideas and concerns. The actual wedding banquet ceremony experience met our expectations and was delivered in line with what we had hoped for. Their service helped restore some confidence and showed the level of hospitality we had hoped for throughout the process. Overall, while Kenneth and Stephen demonstrated professionalism and care, the coordination and planning experience significantly impacted our impression of the package. For couples considering this venue, we would strongly encourage clarifying expectations on communication, flexibility, and service standards from the outset.

Was having a difficult time planning my Peranakan theme wedding, fortunately came across Concorde Hotel’s Spices cafe. Our wedding planner Rachel did an excellent job in customising their existing wedding package to fit our theme. She is really professional and speedy with replies. Really grateful for Rachel the fairy godmother and the entire Concorde team for making my wedding possible. All my guests were praising on Peranakan menu and excellent services. Would totally recommend Concorde to anyone who is interested in wedding or DnD events!
