As a family we hosted my sister’s wedding here (a while ago as it was during covid and the event was limited to 50 guests) Given that we had the unique situation of planning a wedding during a pandemic and hopefully a situation that no other family will have to go through - Capella and particularly the event team and catering staff went above and beyond to ensure that the day was a vibrant, fun, welcoming, memorable one as well as ensuring that the event was carried out in a safe manner. A couple of months before the wedding we met with the wedding planners (if I remember correctly they were associated with the hotel rather than one we hired), tried different canapé options etc. The process was fun and actually quite relaxing for a potentially stressful event! As it was a very rainy day during the wedding luckily we had an indoor space prepared for the actual ceremony and then moved to the Chinese restaurant for the entertainment bit. Since it was covid times we had limited arrangements for music e.g. we could not get any wind instruments or a singer so just opted for a dj but obviously you can do those things now. Some of the family and guests stayed a few days more at the Capella, both the rooms in the main building and the villas are spacious and are great to get a sense of an escape from the city. Many of the villas also have a small pool in the garden. A lot of Singaporeans go to Capella for a day to use the spa which is world class, would definitely recommend getting pampered there as a hen do!!

went there for a wedding dinner occasion and the service was par excellent. Really gorgeous dining ballroom. Transports you to a fairytale like soiree in the forest. Location maybe a bit inconvenient for those who dont drive though coz it is on Sentosa but overall it is a wonderful experience.

Attended a wedding banquet and was shocked to find out that these teen servers did not have any prior training other that a 10 minute briefing with the full timer staff/ managers. How are some of these teens as young as 16, fresh out of high school, expected to provide excellent service without any training? I am deeply disappointed that this 5 star rated hotel have such unethical values to rather have quantity instead of quality… p.s There was a wine spillage during the banquet too
