We had an amazing pre-wedding shoot (PWS) experience with Chris Ling Photography, and we’d like to thank the wonderful team who made the entire journey smooth, fun, and memorable. A big shoutout to Jed, our photographer, for his incredible talent and eye for detail. He made us feel comfortable throughout the shoot and captured stunning shots that exceeded our expectations. His guidance, patience, and creative ideas really brought our vision to life! We’d also like to thank Amber, our makeup artist, who did a fantastic job with the makeup and hair. She made sure we looked our best while keeping our style natural and elegant – exactly what we wanted. Lastly, thank you to Joey, for her excellent service, professionalism, and patience throughout the entire process. From the initial consultation to the final selection of photos, she was always helpful, responsive, and attentive to our preferences. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend Chris Ling Photography to anyone looking for a professional and seamless PWS journey. Best pre-wedding photoshoot experience in Singapore! Best on the day photography experience with Jackie who was the photographer and Amber who did my partner’s make up! Really took good care of us and made sure that our photoshoot went smoothly and photos came out beautiful! Special mention to Joey who was such a sweet lady who gave us brilliant advice on how to choose our photos to construct the most beautiful wedding album that me and my partner could ever ask for. No hard selling at all, just proper advice! Such a sweet lady! 🙂

Posting this review a while later in case they do anything unprofessional with our names and photos. TLDR: - wonderful photos, shoutout to photographer Jed, MUA Amber and gown sales staff Zia - aggressive hard selling, unprofessional and rude photo consultant Joey Pros: - Photos turned out really nice and we loved them - Jed was a great photographer. We seldom take photos and are not very photogenic, but Jed managed to capture really glam and natural photos of us with artistic framing. We didn’t really know how to pose, so he guided us every step of the way - down to small details like where to place our hands and how to angle our heads. He also made jokes and kept the atmosphere light and fun, which set us at ease and contributed to the wonderful photos. - Amber did a great job with the makeup and hair, switching up styles at different locations - Zia was very friendly and helpful in choosing the gown/suit Cons: - Bought this package after being subjected to aggressive hard selling by Derrick for 2 hours at the wedding fair. We did not manage to read the fine terms properly as a result. Although it was stated on paper, it was not highlighted to us that the 22 photos were the only soft copies we would be getting. We initially thought we would be getting 22 edited photos and all the other raw photos, especially in view of the premium price, but this was not the case. - On hindsight, the package terms are very unfair. They provide 20 photos for 2 locations, but only 22 photos (a pathetic additional 2 photos) for 3 locations. While the 3 locations package includes the storyline perk, which undoubtedly involves a lot of photo editing, the additional amount paid is not proportional to 2 measly additional photos and the storyline feature. - The most awful part of the experience was our photo consultant Joey. Her attitude was terrible and she kept trying to talk down to us, as if she enjoyed wielding the power she had over us because our photos were in her possession. Some specific examples: she said really smugly that we should be nice to her (or beg her) to help us get a better deal. My partner was more keen on getting more photos, but I was reluctant because of her attitude and the price. As a result, she praised my partner multiple times for being good and decisive, while throwing shade at me for being indecisive and particular about money. She insisted that she respects everyone’s budget, yet she kept badgering and pressuring us to buy more photos and personally attacked me multiple times for being hesitant about spending a few thousand dollars (on top of the original package price). No consent was even taken from us, but the whole discussion was video recorded (supposedly to ensure customers don’t go back on their words; but I consider it a red flag because it seems like the company is trying to force customers to push through with the bad decisions that they were pressured into taking on the spot by their photo consultant), so please feel free to look at the recordings and see how rude she was and how unhappy I looked. What should have been a pleasant start to our wedding festivities was tainted by this experience, and left a sour taste in my mouth. I have never felt so disrespected as a customer. Overall: Photos are great and enough to draw customers, but the experience was ruined by hard selling and unprofessional and rude photo consultant Joey. Would not recommend unless Joey is replaced
