Here are some feedback I hope you all can take note of and improve on for your future works. #1 Risk assessment and security clearance: As a company that prides yourself in doing huge set-up and all, the late submission and lack of details in the forms as required by the hotel is total no-go. We have informed you regarding the required documents on 22 Nov. Four Seasons is a 5-star hotel with brand standards and takes workplace safety and public liability seriously. For example, in the RA, you will need to state that you are rigging a tall backdrop and measures to ensure that it will be secured properly with enough weights to weigh it down. Since there will be many people at the stage; what if someone trips and the whole structure falls and someone gets injured. Who shall be responsible? Not doing your due diligence, which also resulted in the delayed entry to the hotel, shows the lack of professionalism on your part. #2: Punctuality and Reliability: Your team's tardiness has been very stress-inducing. As a newlywed couple, there are so many things we need to handle on our wedding day. We understand that with many logistics and circumstances, there may be some delays here and there. However, it will be polite to at least update us that you will be late and let us know your ETA. At least, it will help us to pre-plan and know what to expect. We are constantly wondering if you will appear, if you will finish setting up on time, if the set-up will be as conveyed before…. The whole experience felt like it was beyond our control and honestly created some anxiety for us. From the meet-up for the site recce till the actual day, you had never respected the timing we have informed, and time after time, your actions don’t match up to what you said you will do. This makes us question your reliability and professionalism. Let's not mention the March-in backdrop. From the start we were told by your company that in order for the set up to be completed by 7pm, you have to start unloading at 11am and because of this we paid hotel extra $2000 for early set up, but your team was late and set up only started around 1pm. If that's the case, why are we paying the extra $2000? Should Luna be compensating us? #3 Housekeeping Matters: More can be done to improve. When there's painting required, the most basic way to avoid cases of paint dripping on the carpeted floor is to lay a plastic sheet. What if the paint drips on the carpeted floor? Who's going to pay for the cleaning or "damage". The dust and petals were all over the carpeted floor, but nothing was done until my bridesmaid and Four Seasons staff took out a tape and started tapping all the dirt. #4 backdrop From our 2nd meet up, I have been emphasising I need a backdrop for my March in and even provided photo. During recce, I even got your designer to measure the backdrop size, but on the actual day, this is what I received. You call that a backdrop? All in all, I think the setup turned out fine in the end, but why does it have to feel like it was a close shave? The whole experience is a bit uncalled for if you have been more prepared and professional in managing the whole project. Right after the wedding, we message you our feedback, but no APOLOGY and RESPONSE was made.
