Shiok Kitchen Catering Singapore

Found Shiok Kitchen during one of the wedding fairs and absolutely loved their food. At that point we were still considering our options, there was no hard-selling or pushing for an immediate decision. We met up with Jesslyn and ultimately decided to engage them for our buffet lunch and decorations. The food was amazing and our guests said it’s probably the best wedding food they’ve ever had! I also sent Jesslyn some inspo pics of the colour theme we had in mind and decoration styles we liked. She and her team truly delivered! It was beyond my expectations and I probably love the deco more than my new husband 😆 I was initially really worried and had a lot of last minute changes/questions but Jesslyn was so sweet and kind and rolled with all my punches. The actual day went so smoothly and had zero hiccups that we know of. Jesslyn and team probably did a lot of fire fighting that we didn’t know about and we are so grateful for them. Future brides can definitely rest assured and leave it to them 🥰❤️

Had a church wedding reception and the food from Shiok Kitchen was good! Everyone was happy which made us happy too! Jesslyn was very helpful and kind. She ensured that all requests made were carried out accordingly. She recommended the pan fried carrot cake with chye poh and eggs and it was good! The pulut hitam cake, sheperd’s pie and eefu noodles were delicious too! The Ops Team - Mr Mark and Mr Jimmy were sooooo kind and helpful! Their set up was so pretty and they ensured that our event went smoothly. The popiah live station was definitely worth it!

We chose Jess as our caterer for our wedding banquet. She first initiated the meet up with us for a food tasting at a restaurant. The food served was exceptionally delicious and also very unique. Our favorite was the 36 hour slow cooked beef cheeks, which were extremely juicy, tender and could break apart by just using a spoon. During the banquet, every single person enjoyed the dinner and had only good things to say with regards to the dinner.

Kudos to Jesslyn! Her guidance and assistance made our planning process less stressful. She was really flexible when we wanted different options and she got back to our queries promptly. Thank you Jesslyn! :) We received a lot of positive feedbacks from our guests on the food, especially the live station satay!! All in all, it was a great experience with Shiok Kitchen! :)

Engaged Shiok catering for my wedding luncheon two weeks ago and it was one of the best decisions I have made for my wedding celebration. Though it has been two weeks, friends whom I met, are still telling me how delicious and yummy the food from the luncheon was. When I was going around to the various tables, everyone was raving about the food and how amazing the place looks. And yes, my husband and I also agreed that the food was amazing. We ordered a 4 course western set meal for each of our guest. Though the process was a bit tedious (as you have do take orders from all of your guest), but the end result was so worth it. My guests were not only impressed with the taste of the food, but also how it was presented, and many noted that it was different from the usual buffet style, which made it my luncheon stand out. The best part was, the food was served hot. Initially I thought that the food might just be warmed up, but no, I was pleasantly surprised me. The wait staff were very professional and attentive at the luncheon too. My friends praise their service. They were also respectful, as when there were performances or speeches, they waited and tried not to move around. Next that I was very happy and impressed with, was the venue decorations, I was amazed how an empty and dull church cafeteria, was transformed into a beautiful wedding ballroom. All this wouldn’t have happened without the vision and hard work of Jesslyn. Jesslyn from Shiok catering is amazing!! I give her 5 thumbs up! She was assigned to assist me for my wedding luncheon. From the onset, from quotation to actual wedding day, Jesslyn was responsive and on the ball. She is meticulous, attentive to small details, and always tries to fufil any request that was within her ability to do so. She was a delight to work with. To me, she has went above and beyond for the service she has provided, a great wedding planner. I have nothing but praises for her. Though there were a few mini hiccups along the way, she always manages to solve it or provide suggestions or assistance.
