Great experience here, getting my jewellery made. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I like it that there’s no pressure to purchase. The gem selection is impressive, I browsed through the company’s Instagram page where the gems are listed and the whole process starts with choosing the gem that I would like, then working with one of the staff, Aster, to create a design, which is then sent to a craftsman to create. Aster also communicated well on each step of the way, till the ring was ready. Lose gems can also be purchased. I purchased one of the available tsavorite, still deciding on what to do next with it. Even recommend to a friend, who brought in pieces of jade given to her, who partnered with a different person, and have them set in earrings and a necklace. Will return again to have some wedding jewellery made!
Was recommended by a friend and saw fairly good reviews hence took the leap of faith despite hearing from another friend that her diamond dropped out (store replaced it) and her ring had a lot of scratches by just 3-6 months. Their size gauge was poor, I had to resize my ring twice despite it being newly made. The ring does not have the comfort-fit feel when worn, taking it out always felt like there was a lot of friction despite the size being able to fit ultimately. Pretty sure it will not be comfortable to wear daily. However what made me post this is the poor workmanship. By the 2nd re-sizing, the ring came back with uneven thickness (from the side and top view; hard to capture on camera) and looked stretched. The owner insisted that this is how it will be after resizing but it’s such a disappointment because it’s a band new $500-600 ring and my engagement ring from Jann Paul still looks as good as new despite resizing once. I thoroughly regret my decision to purchase my wedding band from Poh Kim Jewellery.
Quite possibly the worst experience I've had at any jeweller. Made an appointment and yet it was packed to the brim at their workshop near closing time. There was no proper service and when I informed the nice auntie about my plan to customise wedding bands, she put me in a room with a girl, who's obviously the daughter of the business owner. Young lady was with a pair of customers and I was ok to wait because I could see she was busy. She came over and impatiently asked me what I wanted and when I showed her my ideas, she became very irritated and told me that she mentioned before over IG that it wasn't possible because melee stones are too difficult to do. She got very annoyed after I told her I'm open to other ideas and alternatives she may have and she rolled her eyes, huffed and went to the main room to get someone to retrieve me. All this while she had the couple still in the room with me and they were shocked at her attitude towards me. Rings of various designs and poor quality gemstones are just thrust to you to pick out from. Everyone is also too busy to entertain you. Workshop is very messy and there's barely any space for you to be sat down and consulted. This isn't my first rodeo purchasing bespoke jewelry but will definitely not recommend the service nor quality here.

It was an enjoyable experience getting our engagement ring, wedding bands and 四点金 from Poh Kim! Mr Tay has been the most helpful in our jewellery making process, ever flexible and willing to fit into our budget. All the other staffs were friendly and helpful as well. Poh Kim is a place for anyone who knows what they are going for and want good and affordable jewellery.
