I first engaged Jennifer from Ovation SG for fairy lights decor a year before my AD. Despite sending her a photo of my requirement six months before my AD, she got my requirement wrong. Nearing my AD, we went for a site visit and upon seeing the venue in-person, she told me that my proposed layout was not feasible and there were certain modifications to be made. This was okay with me, as it was a month to the lead up of my AD. After the site visit, Jennifer told me that she would provide me with the revised quotation for a modified layout. However, I received radio silence from her and only after repeated prompting, she informed me that it was not feasible to execute to layout. I felt that it was incredibly unprofessional on her part, as the team could have informed me in advance on what is the bandwidth of the set-up team, such that I could look for other alternative arrangements if they were unwilling to commit. However, the entire process of engagement required repeated prompting, and just did not provide a service that was up to standard. No mock-ups were also provided. I hope that the team can take this feedback for consideration (and please, do not drop the ball three weeks before a couple’s big day).

Even though we didn’t go with their services eventually (we had other friends to help with decor), I would definitely recommend ovation to any wedding couple or for a proposal project!
