I don't usually leave negative reviews, but after my experience with Musical Touch, I feel compelled to share it so that other couples know what to expect. We engaged Musical Touch for our wedding banquet, with one of their key responsibilities being to perform and coordinate our first march-in song. Like many couples, this was one of the most important moments of our wedding, and we took the time to explain exactly how we wanted it to be sung. Prior to the wedding, I specifically asked their admin, Eva, how I should communicate these instructions to the band. Her response was that all communication should remain within the group chat they had created. Naturally, I trusted that they would relay the information internally to the musicians and singer. To my shock, just moments before our first march-in, I happened to bump into the singer backstage. I casually asked if she knew how we wanted the song to be performed. Her response was that she had never been told. She had no idea about the instructions we had painstakingly discussed beforehand. Let that sink in. If I had not happened to speak to her by pure chance, our first march-in—one of the most significant moments of our wedding—would have gone completely differently from what we had planned. The only reason it didn't become a complete flop was because I intervened at the very last minute. That is not coordination; that is sheer luck. What disappointed me even more was that this situation was entirely preventable. After we explained our preferred arrangement, Eva herself replied, **"We can do that."** Those four words gave us confidence that our request had been understood and would be communicated to the performers. Instead, it appears that communication simply stopped there. What exactly is the value of hiring an event music company if the customer is expected to coordinate directly with the performers? Their role should be to bridge communication between the client and the band—not to expect the bride and groom to manage those conversations themselves. To make matters worse, none of the band members were even included in the group chat that Musical Touch had created with us. There was effectively no direct communication channel between our side and the people who were actually performing. The company created a communication process that they themselves failed to execute. The experience after the wedding was equally disappointing. I sent feedback explaining what had happened and expressing how let down we were. My message was read but ignored. I eventually had to send a follow-up because no one had bothered to respond. When they finally did, there was no genuine ownership of what had happened. Instead, Eva shifted the responsibility back onto us, suggesting that we should somehow have ensured the band received the instructions. Rather than acknowledging the breakdown in communication, the blame was placed on the customer. Even more disappointing was that their boss, Alvin, initially stood by her position instead of recognising the obvious failure in coordination. It was only when we refused to make payment over the unresolved issue that the conversation shifted. Only then did Alvin acknowledge that the situation "could have been managed better." While we appreciated that this was eventually said, it came far too late. That acknowledgment should have come when we first raised our concerns—not only after a payment dispute arose. By that point, the issue was no longer about the mistake itself, but about the company's unwillingness to take ownership until there were financial consequences. Running an events business isn't just about providing talented musicians. It's about communication, coordination, accountability, and problem-solving. Unfortunately, these were the very areas where Musical Touch fell short. Throughout the process, it felt as though we were expected to perform the coordination that we had paid them to do. For a company that claims to have been in this business for many years, I expected far better. A simple internal handover of information could have prevented this entire incident. Instead, our wedding's first march-in was nearly compromised because of a complete breakdown in communication, and when we raised our concerns afterwards, we were met with silence, followed by blame, and only much later a partial acknowledgment after payment had become an issue. I sincerely hope they improve their internal processes and, more importantly, learn to take ownership when things go wrong. Future couples deserve the peace of mind that comes from knowing the professionals they've hired are actually coordinating the event—not relying on luck or the couple to save the day.

We were originally only looking for an emcee for our wedding and the idea of a virtual band didn't really seem very enticing. After contacting Alvin, he set up a video meeting with us the next day. We had several concerns about engaging a virtual band but he was very patient and explained to us in great detail on how it works so that we can have a peace of mind. Prices were very transparent so there were no hidden costs. We ended up engaging an emcee and a 3 piece virtual band. Their support from the planning to the execution during the event was thorough and they followed up well and responded very quickly when we had questions. Alvin worked well with our event manager and even went down to the venue to make sure they had everything ready before the actual day, turns out doing a live stream is not easy and we are glad that we can leave all the technical details to him. Aftersales follow up was also great, he gave us a call discuss with us about what we thought went well or not and he was very open to any feedback. We're so glad that we engaged their services as both the band and emcee was fantastic and it really made our event much livelier! Highly recommend.

First discovered them on Google while looking for a wedding band. We submitted an enquiry and Alvin and Michane responded very promptly. Alvin sent us an email with the brochure attached and contacted us to understand our wedding more to better recommend which package would be most suitable for us. He was not pushy at all and made us very comfortable and confident of their services. Even during this COVID situation, Alvin and Michane, were very pro active in giving us the latest updates and trying to figure out how to best proceed forward. We decided to proceed on with our wedding and they made the necessary arrangements. Our family and friends complimented the band even though they were playing thru a live stream. Alvin and Michane made it interactive with the dedication slips that the musicians read out throughout the night. It was a very fun and enjoyable night! Thanks Alvin and Michane for your hard work and dedication on making our wedding night a very fun and enjoyable one!
