We came across Heart to Heart Stories at a wedding fair, and almost from the moment we sat down to talk to Yancong and Theingi, we knew they were a good fit for us. We booked a package with them the next day, and we were so glad that we did! Yancong did our pre-wedding shoot and both Yancong and Theingi were our videographers on our actual day. Throughout the process, they were friendly, reassuring, and responsive, and they were so helpful in guiding us through everything that needed to be planned or considered. They also had a great eye for capturing the important moments – both big and small, both lively and quiet – on our special day! We are quite introverted and were worried about being awkward in front of the camera, but Yancong kept us feeling so at ease and gave us great prompts and suggestions – and both our pre-wedding photos and our wedding video turned out beautifully. When the final video was ready, we were also pleasantly surprised to receive not only a thumbdrive with the full film, but also a collection of printed still photos from the day in a customised wooden box, which was such a lovely touch. We were so glad that we manage to engage Hearttoheartstories for our AD. Working with Yancong feels like a friend and not a vendor 🥹 We love how he capture not just a simple photo,but photos with meaning and emotions. Yancong make us feel like he is not someone who rush to take photos just to get his work done, you can tell his passion and love for his job thru his works. We loved the photos that he had taken for our ROM & PWS . He made my guest feel comfortable behind camera during our ROM. Yancong also advise us on timeline on our AD, we did not need to stress much knowing that we are in good hands :) On our AD, having Yancong around feels like having a friend beside us, he captured many beautiful photos and sent to us as sneaks! Saw heart to heart stories same day video at my friend's wedding and was sold by the video. hence, we decided to go with heart to heart stories for our actual wedding day and it was 11/10! Yan Cong and Thengi are very fun loving and the whole process with was smooth and fuss free. Prior to the wedding, Yan Cong was very patient in answering our questions, giving us practical advice and leading up to the wedding, assurance and encouragement that were very useful. Yan Cong and Thengi even brought their own spot light and helped us with lighting on site after knowing the venue. On the actual day, Thengi and the team were very assuring and fun, and they capture moments that we really wanted and candid, because we didn't want something scripted. You know sometime when u take videos, u feel like it was a forced video but with Thengi and the team, it was totally relax and the emotions just come naturally. A big thanks to Thengi and the team for the amazing same day video that all our guests and us were in love with and we kept replaying it after the wedding as well. and I can say that the same day video was what we wanted and unique to us. Looking forward to the highlight video later on too! if you want videographers that capture your unique wedding moments, highly recommend to go with them!

Our experience with Yancong began when we were just a clueless couple trying to just have a simple wedding. However, when your photographer is more excited about your own wedding than you are, it’s hard to not also put in effort into making our special day ours. An hour sit-down with him (and two of his beautiful cats) resulted in our bare-bones wedding day flow turning into something more fleshed out and solid. At that point it felt like we finally found our footing in this whirlwind of a process, and had gained clarity on what to do next. He was not just a photographer, but a solid and wise advisor. He gave us periodic tips and tricks, and often reminded us to do our ‘homework’ - to sit down and think of what really mattered to us in our relationship, between our families and friends, and of course on our big day itself. On the big day, we can see clearly how he worked his magic on his clear direction. He appeared as a reliable post to look out for when everything is just going too fast. His friendly disposition made everyone around him comfortable, even my usually stoic and reserved parents. Multiple times, our guests even asked if he was our friend, since he seemed so comfortable and always seemed to know what we were thinking. Last but definitely not the least, why we engaged him in the first place, is how he works his magic on our photos. During the short portrait session we had with him, we could tell how passionate he was in his craft by how he was experimenting with different poses and compositions he found online. I’m confident, if we had any ideas, he would be sure to make it happen. My husband and I were awed by the pictures that were returned as a sneak peek on the day of. I can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures!
