Gathered+Styled

We went to Aly with an idea in mind, and she helped us to refine whatever we had and conceptualised it into seven different ideas for us to consider - so much effort went into coming up with the mood board, and it really comes through. What we eventually chose was something a bit different than the usual wedding colour scheme but it suited us to a T. Aly is incredibly versatile and there is nothing she cannot do. The most fun part is seeing her ideas come to life. We gave her a challenge and she nailed it, while ensuring that the theme was still very "us". We gave her a budget and she also managed to work with it - this is really important, given how expensive weddings are nowadays! She was also never stingy with her time (we visited the solemnisation venue + wedding ballroom with her a few times prior to our wedding) and she was so easy to work with. We were so happy to have Aly work on our floral decorations for our wedding. She did our bouquet, center table decorations and the butonnnaires - all of which came out absolutely gorgeous and above expectations. Alyona did a wonderful job with my wedding personal flowers! Very happy with the arrangement, I sent it for preserving and I couldn't bear to part with it. I was not expecting a moodboard with 5 options and the choice of branded and hand-painted ribbons, and I certainly was not expecting my flowers to come in a vase as well. I agonised over the options for days and gave her all my comments for the options and she incorporated them all into my final bouquet. All of the flowers are so pretty and some of them had really unique colours (which may have been painted? not too sure). The bridesmaids' posies, groom's and parents' boutonnieres were also lovely and well-crafted. Thank you for accepting my rather late order as well as all my requirements that another florist rejected!

'- Aly is an absolutely sweet and amazing lady to work with! - She presented a very professionally done mood board to us which we really appreciate. - If you love unique, creative flower decor / bouquet with lots of texture, Aly’s greatttt with that. She also makes sure she doesn’t repeat same design on her bouquet for her brides. - A few days before our wedding she asked if I would like to borrow (for free) some of her geometric props as she recalled I have a similar one for my red packet box and it could match well! She even added flowers into the geometric boxes and they looked so pretty! - Feel free to tell her what you like or dislike so it can help her create something that you really like!

Despite the tight time frame, limited budget, long list of requirements AND less-than-ideal hotel ballroom carpet, she was so so committed to doing a good job — made great suggestions and really worked with us to pull off our common vision. Her passion and excitement to create also really rubbed off me, and I had so much fun working with her. Aly has a real unique style and I always look forward to her new work.
