DEAL AT OWN RISK!!! They have closed their shop at Tanjong Pagar and their recent reviews are all bad. My partner and I went to the French Wedding booth at BOWS wedding fair and they sublet the booth illegally to Love Nest (only found out the reason for subletting later on when I spoke to the boss, Wendy. She said that French Wedding has closed and with no physical store, they cannot get new customers). This resulted in many customers signing with Love Nest under impression that French Wedding and Love Nest have merged. Unfortunately, we signed with them because of the previous good reviews we saw from French Wedding, which has been my greatest regret ever since. Since Apr 2024, Love Nest has closed and is uncontactable. Our deposit is with Love Nest, and we have no chance of getting back our money. The payment that we made to 'Love Nest' is actually to Hawkeye (UEN: 201502624K). Please beware! If you are going to sign anything with French Wedding, they may do the same thing again and direct the payment to this shell company and you will not be able to get your money back. Do thorough checks on the company on ACRA using their UEN number or just don't deal at all. We have since made a police report, and went to Small Claims Tribunals to lodge a case. All of these do not guarantee any money back and has caused us much frustration throughout wedding planning (as if this is not stressful enough). TLDR: French Wedding is shady, has unethical dealings with the now defunct Love Nest/L'Atelier Hawkeye/Malena Bridal. Do not deal at all costs.

We signed with French wedding via BOWS on the 7th January 2023. Was served by salesperson Ann, and we signed for a 2888 package for both PWS and AD gowns and suits (according to the pamphlet, the original price for the package was 3888 and signing with them at BOWS entitled us to a $1000 rebate). Told Ann that we were looking for cheongsam evening gowns and showed her pictures, she reassured that the boss of FW are bringing in such designs. Thus, after much consideration, my husband and I decided to sign with them after much reassurance and paid a 50% deposit. We had our PWS done in October 2023 and sadly, the selection of evening gowns were quite limited and did not have designs as promised by Ann. Nevertheless, the PWS went smoothly with the help of our coordinator Lili and photographer Kenny. Chris was my PWS MUA and she was very professional as well. In December 2023, when we were about to collect our PWS album, lili informed us that FW will be merging with love nest at city gate and the Tanjong Pagar shop will be closed for good. It was explained to us that the shop owner needs to retrieve back the shop, and lili reassured us the the pre-selected gowns and rest of the package will still be delivered by love nest. Booked a gown selection appt at love nest in Feb 2024 and when we arrived, we were disappointed at the selection of gowns - could not find what was suitable for me. some of the gowns seems old and yellowed at the train area. Love nest coordinator Rainy also told us that FW did not bring over any of their gowns and all gowns were being thrown away. The selection of suits was also extremely limited, and sizes were odd - either too huge or too small on my husband. We were not able to find a good fit for father's jackets as well, and most of the jackets were extremely old and dusty. LN Rainy told me that Feb is a peak PWS season hence most of their gowns might not be available - suggested to her to come for a refit but she was not reassuring and told me to select the gowns directly on that day. Followed up with LN about the possibility of retrieving old gowns from FW (those that we pre-selected), FW replied that they were only able to retrieve the evening gown from their warehouse - this was extremely contradicting as wasn't it informed to us that ALL gowns were thrown away? In April 2024, news of the LN closure broke out and we were not able to contact any of the coordinators from LN. Even the LN Florist Xiaohan informed me that none of the LN staff was picking up. Contacted FW Wendy and she then told us FW customers will not be affected as they will take over and follow up - wasn't it supposed to be a merger in the first place? Wendy was not very responsive, required multiple prompts to follow up. We had requested for a partial refund, however despite the failure to provide the intended service, Wendy was not responsive, by then it was mid April already. Our wedding was supposed to be in May. Also, even though LN said that gowns were all thrown away, the pre-selected gown that I had wanted to rent for my AD was seen at the Suntec outlet - what irony and contradiction was that? Thereafter, nil follow up was done. In May, a few days before my wedding, a florist suddenly contacted me and said that they were hired by FW to provide AD bouquets and car florals. Shouldn't all these be followed up from the start and not a few days prior to the wedding? I had already engaged my own florists due to their lack of response and irresponsibility. All these events caused undue stress on us and it is purely irresponsible of Wendy and FW. Would like to give zero stars for all these events but google would not let me. Extreme disappointment.

First, website is not updated with their moved. The new location is a tiny stop that goes with the name of lollipop studio. 2nd, there are less than 2 racks of gowns and one has to visit a link to shortlist the gowns and go back another day to try them. Disappointing experience and a waste of our time.
