I purchased a pair of earrings from Carat Heritage and unfortunately had a disappointing post-purchase experience regarding their discount and payment policies. I was served by Dawnne at the store, who was very helpful throughout the purchase process. I was informed there’s a 10% first-time purchase discount, but understood that it would not apply if payment was made via credit card, so I proceeded with PayNow. After the purchase, I noticed the same discount was available online, so I contacted the store to request for a change in payment method (not for a refund). The manager, Ashley, replied that: - the discount was only intended for online purchases - it would no longer apply since I had viewed the item in store, and - changing to credit card payment would incur additional fees My disappointment is not with the policies themselves, but that these conditions were not clearly communicated upfront. I was also told to “please try not to game our discount system” even though I acted based on the information I had at the time. I believe the situation could have been handled more professionally and empathetically. Leaving this review to encourage future customers to clarify all discount and payment terms before making any purchase.

Had a great experience purchasing an engagement ring from Carat Heritage. Ashley was very patient with showcasing and explaining the different rings and their unique features at their showroom. Friendly knowledgeable staff. I ordered a bespoke ring so it took a little longer, but well worth the wait. Very reasonably priced.
