I started .my conversation with them thru Instagram and they are very responsive. They have a great selection of gowns and I actually like quite a num of them! It's a pity that when I was there they no longer rent gowns but was doing a sale of some of their gowns. In the end I decided not to purchase due to practicality but I would hav love to engage them for my wedding. It's not easy to find gown for plus size ladies like me. I'm a us16. The lady who served me was also very patient and encourages you to try a variety of gown to really find ur dream gown. I hope they will open for gown rental again!

Very thankful for the service of dropping off the gown at the concierge!

Everything felt old and outdated – from the selection and workmanship to the people involved. It all started going downhill when our PIC left the company, and no one followed up. By the time we reached out, all the makeup artists were fully booked. There was no backup plan or support from the staff, so we had to write in personally. That’s when things went from bad to worse. They introduced us to Marilyn Kong, which turned out to be far from a blessing in disguise. 1. She was late twice – in the morning and evening – and blamed the “Grab driver.” 2. Promised to provide a long veil and fresh flowers but showed up empty-handed, offering a slew of excuses. 3. Her hairstyle and makeup were outdated and uninspired. 4. She was snobbish and kept pulling a long face, even to my friends and family. Not even a “hi” was given. 5. Forced me to get ampoules when i repeated said NO ($30x2) 6. Promised to arrange a MUA for my mom, only to inform me on the actual day that the MUA couldn’t make it On top of that, my husband and I were stuck at Bqueens for 5 hours just to wait for them to work on both our outfits and my parents’ outfits because their workmanship was terrible – pieces were falling apart, everything was misaligned… Just engage someone else.

Bqueens was the 4th (and the last) bridal studio I visited on the recommendations of my sister-in-law. Valent - head designer - asked me for the type of dress I was looking for (long sleeves) so she could collect designs from her warehouse and prepare them for fitting. Valent asked about my wedding venue and recommended that I pick a glittery gown (really appreciated this instead of being incessantly asked what I like haha). Most of the gowns looked beautiful when I tried on and as a result, I almost missed trying the gown I eventually picked (because it looked less impressive on a hanger). There were some features of the dress that was a bit different from the dress I envisioned - length of train, not white enough... and Valent being a designer, was able to suggest adjustments - adding a detachable train to lengthen the train, adding tulle to make the champagne colour a lighter hue (I appreciated this very much because the responses I got from a high end bridal shop along Tanjong Pagar to similar questions was along the lines of too bad, that's just how the dress is). Valent was also super patient when helping me try on the dress. I paid for the price of the rental in full on the first visit because dress was pretty, service was excellent and price was reasonable. Following the appointment, i topped up to a package with Kua + Ma Kua and suit set for my brother. Subsequently Valent was not based in the bridal shop as often and my case was followed up by Jeanie, who was equally responsive and patient with all the requests I/my family had. Made about 5 trips to the studio to try on my gown and Valent, Jeanie and seamstress Li Zhen were all extremely patient in assisting me. They were also very accomodating to our many requests to loan tie, white shirt and vest (for my husband) etc. My family, who had accompanied me on all the visits, agreed unanimously that the service delivered was great. All the staff and Lynn was also very friendly to my brother, who has special needs. More thoughts on picking gowns: I'm glad I was given a chance to try as many as I liked because I would have otherwise missed my dream dress. Not forgetting to add the Bqueens set aside my dress for me for an ENTIRE YEAR once I booked it - even high end bridal studios in Tanjong Pagar do not do this so I appreciated this a lot a lot. Me too had initially second guessed my choice (I guess that can happen too with a dream gown) and I appreciated Valent allowing me to return one day after my appointment to try the dress again when I was picking a Kua. The dress really grew on me and so many guests told me that my dress' pretty on my wedding day. Thanks Valent again for your beautifully designed gown😍 Here are some photos of my gown (no photos can do it justice cos its so much prettier irl:))

Jeanie has been the most helpful for us since Day 1. She’s extremely resourceful when suggesting the kinds of outfits we can wear, and also makes it very pressure-free for us. She’s also very cheery and excited for us! And she did this for us in all our Pre-Wed shoot, parents & Actual Day appointments. All in all, very satisfied & pleased to have her taking care of us through the whole process!
