B.P. de Silva Jewellers

I probably checked out 30 different Jewelers before choosing to go with BP de silva. Well more specifically, Regina and BP de silva. Regina is the store manager and we bonded quickly, she didn't chase me around the store trying to push me into buying something like so many others. We sort of discussed what i liked and what i thought my girlfriend would like as an engagement ring, and to be honest at that moment there wasn't much in the store which really took my fancy. However a necklace did catch my eye and although it was in fact a necklace, with a different colour stone, and wrong colour metal; we set about creating a ring in the same vein. Well all i can say is with Regina's knowledge and me/my girlfriend's taste in mind, I believe we created a stunning ring that was a total surprise, and it went down a storm when i proposed two weeks ago. I couldn't recommend this jewelers enough, the family firm is old and respected and the events and guidance has really made the whole experience a joy. (even though i got the size wrong which they sorted it within a week). Thanks very much Regina and the team. Hope to see you all again soon. Harry

I just want to share how very very happy I am with my 30th wedding anniversary ring! I spent a long time looking for a way to reset it without losing the essence originally designed by my husband. The whole process working with Regina was a joy. Her eye for detail and advice was invaluable as I was asking for a setting that other jewellers told me couldn’t be done. The biggest bonus was that Regina even accommodated an additional 76 pieces of diamonds to my solitaire making the ring a house of 77 diamonds - a sacred number dear to my husband and I as 7th July is our wedding anniversary. I walked into B P De Silva as a complete novice on engagement and wedding jewelry. I had only picked out a sapphire that I had a hunch my fiancee would love, but had no idea how to create the perfect setting for the stone. Therefore, I walked in with some trepidation, but it soon melted away after I met with Shanya and her team, as I knew I had come to the right place. Shanya was so attentive to me right from the start, carefully trying to understand my specifications, and developing a sense of my fiancee's style. It didn't feel at all like a consultation, but rather like a chat between friends. She also showed me some of her work for inspiration and I started to develop a much better sense of what the final ring may look like. I had a bit of time pressure for the ring, and it didn't help that I had come just in ahead of the Christmas season, but Shanya gave me her assurance that she will try her best to accommodate. Over the next few weeks, Shanya kept me in the loop and reached out for feedback on designs that she had personally sketched. Being able to provide feedback along the way was immensely helpful and Shanya pretty much hit the nail on the head with respect to what I was expecting. True to the word, the rings (both engagement and wedding rings) were ready just in time for my proposal. The rings were all I had hoped for and more. My fiancee (now my wife) loves them so much that to this day, she insists on wearing both together! I am ever thankful to Shanya and her team for taking such good care of us! We will be back soon for sure!
