PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN PURCHASING FROM THIS COMPANY! Catered food for our church wedding with an agreed upon set-up time of 9.30am (guests were to come down at 10am to start eating). To our horror, Ammani was completely uncontactable throughout the morning with over 40 plus calls made to them with multiple phones as they had not turned up. Finally they turned up at 11.15am at the church, at which point more than 2/3 of the guests had left due to them being almost 2 hours late. They caused us so much distress and so much embarrassment, all while ammani being very rude, especially the lady in charge of Sales. On top of all that, their service recovery is atrocious. The reason they gave for their coming late… STARTED COOKING THE FOOD LATE… a catering company has one job, cater food on time. That’s it. And they can’t even do that… terrible if you’d ask me. Please be aware and save yourselves the embarrassment and stress.

We had one of the worst experiences with ammani catering on the most special day of our lives - our wedding. I am beyond appalled by the lack of customer service and warmth that you’d expect to receive from a vendor especially on your wedding day. Here’s the FACTS. 1. The agreed time for setup was 9.30am. Even past 9.30am, the number given was completely uncontactable. 2. Our parents were busy trying to call the ammani team instead of taking pictures and being with us, the groom and bride. 3. Our family members left the wedding venue (while the wedding on still ongoing) and made several trips to and fro 7/11 to get snacks for the guests because food was not setup. 4. The food was setup at 11.15am. 11.15am!!! 1hr 45mins after agreed time. We had 300 guests for the ceremony, less than a 100 stayed back as they could not wait that long for the food. How embarrassing to not have food ready for guests when it was communicated to them by us that we have catered food for the wedding. 5. When asked about why the number was uncontactable, we were told that the number was not functioning since Covid times. We highlighted that this was the number on google and even on their delivery truck!! 6. After all this, the lack of being apologetic when ammani arrived was ZERO. We were given a completely unreasonable excuse for the food not arriving on time - “delay in commencing cooking in the morning which led to the late packing / loading onto the vehicles”. Does this sound like a problem the bride and groom need to be worrying about on their wedding day? Absolutely horrendous. 7. To top this all off, ammani still expected us to pay the remaining amount on the spot, even with almost all the guests having left thinking there’s no food catered. (obviously we refused).

The family were so worried and stressed out. They came 1 hour late and many of the guests already left without eating. That was pathetic.. So the wedding had some vegetarian guests and the manager was so rude when i asked if she could sperate vegetarian food from the non vegetarian food. I suggest yall to think twice before using their services..
