A small shop on the second level of People’s Park Complex. The building area is a maze, quite hard to find the units. There’s some display of red packets and decorations outside and inside the small shop it’s aircon and filled with necessary Chinese wedding customs products. Both the female and male staff were not particularly helpful or friendly. Definitely not welcoming and did not really want to engage customers. Prices are possibly standard range for similar shops around the area but definitely a lot more expensive than online. Whilst it’s true for every business to want to make big money from big sales, you’ll never know if you can make the sales if you can’t be bothered with the customer by answering in brushing off monosyllabic replies. Anyway there are many similar shops around Chinatown. Just shop around and see which shop you prefer.

We bought 过大礼 goodies and tea ceremony items from AMD Wedding. Cetric was very friendly and professional in assisting and guiding us throughout our 过大礼, actual wedding day, and even after the wedding, explaining the procedures we needed to follow. ☺️ He is very knowledgeable and detailed about all the traditional practices, and everything was nicely packed for us, which minimised any hassle. A one-stop centre which helps us settle the betrothal and dowry as well as bed-setting and hair combing. Boss is extremely friendly, and always happy to share his knowledge (detailed customary procedures). Not to mention that he is patient and would always answer tonnes of enquiries raised by us at all times. To add on, there’s even a coaching session to teach us the proper way of handling the items upon collection. In short, should you wish a hassle free yet you would still want to follow all the customary procedures for wedding, AMD Wedding is definitely the perfect choice!
