[EDIT: received the security deposit the moment Malika was aware of my Facebook review. Malika mentioned that I’ll be compensated with a jewellery set as a form of service recovery. But an advice to all future customers - for finance matters, do liaise with Malika.] A recent bride of Alain with fraudulent experience. Approached Alain in June-July 2024 to customise my bridal saree. Met Malika at their Golden Landmark outlet. Was assured that first trial will be in October 2024, as their embroidery works take 4 months. Although Malika saved my preferred designs in her laptop with my name, the embroidery that was on my blouse was vastly different from what I wanted. It was 4 weeks to my wedding date, and I can’t make any changes. After collecting my saree and blouse, I realised that my hip belt was missing. Rental of bridal jewellery - was assisted by Malika’s daughter Shanaz. Although Shanaz was experienced in helping me choose the appropriate jewellery set, I have been waiting for more than 1 month to receive my security deposit amount despite returning their jewellery set in perfect condition. Despite weekly reminders, and daily reminders Shanaz has a lot of excuses to delay the payment. Although I received a lot of compliments on my wedding outfit, there is no professionalism in how Alain deal with their customers. As of 18 December 2024, I have yet to receive my security deposit amount.

Sammi was incredibly welcoming and took the time to understand my preferences and measurements. He provided helpful suggestions and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. The quality of the tailoring was impeccable—every detail was perfectly executed, and the fit was spot on.
